About The Auction
After more than a year stuck indoors, the time has finally come to return to the world and resume the search for casks of distinction hailing from the finest distilleries across Scotland. The sixth online cask auction hosted by Cask 88 is set to take you on a journey that is sure to fulfill your whisky wanderlust.
Starting on the whisky destination of Islay, for a pit stop at some real fan favourites, before taking a ferry to nearby Arran, and coming away with two casks (for good measure - one peated, one unpeated, of course). Heading North, we seek out some distilleries of renown, nestled among the peaks and valleys of the Highlands. A tour of the most remote areas of Scotland would not be complete without a trip to the Orkney Islands - the wind-blasted islands of the far north, where the Orcadians distill a fine spirit.
Pack a raincoat and some substantial boots, because we’ll be taking you to the furthest reaches of Scotland, and the hardest-to-reach spots across the Highlands, in search of Scotland’s most delicious drams.
